Timmy is a long stayer here at Castledon, due to him being so very nervous of people & the outside world. Timmy is very happy & at ease around us but gets into a panic when he see's people he does not know. However, once he knows you really well and you have gained his trust, he loves being with you - but does take a lot of time and patience, but he's worth the extra effort! He will now jump up at a couple of our weekend volunteers for a cuddle!
We are looking for a very patient, understanding person to take Timmy on. He would be best suited to a home in a quiet/rural area. Timmy would happily live with a female dog, who could give him a bit of help with his confidence.
Timmy would even be happy in a home where he does not get taken out for walks, but has a nice garden where he could feel safe. He finds walks very stressful if he happens to see anyone while out.
